My name is Sarah Flowers, and I am so excited and honored to serve as the 2026 Panhellenic President here at East Carolina University. Along with the incredible group of women on our Executive Board. I have the privilege of representing over 1,600 Panhellenic members across 11 chapters on campus. This amazing community is full of inspiring women who are dedicated to supporting each other, growing as leaders, and making a positive impact on the world around us. One of my favorite parts about Panhellenic is the community it creates. Being surrounded by women who encourage, inspire, and support each other helps create such a strong and empowering environment.
Before coming to college, I always knew I wanted to join a sorority. I hoped it would help me find my people and give me a place that I could call my home away from home. What I didn’t expect was just how much Panhellenic would impact my life in such a positive way. From meeting my best friends to creating memories I’ll carry with me forever, this experience has meant more to me than I ever imagined. Being part of a sorority has truly shown me what makes the college experience so meaningful. It has provided me with opportunities I never saw myself pursuing, while also surrounding me with friendships and moments that will last far beyond my four years at ECU. I didn’t realize how much this experience would help me grow as a person, and I will always be grateful for my time in this incredible community.
What makes our community truly so special is the unwavering support we have for one another. As women supporting and empowering women, we build meaningful friendships, break down barriers, and create a lasting impact on ECU’s campus and in the Greenville community. I am excited for all that lies ahead and have no doubt that together we will continue to grow, lead, and strengthen the incredible sisterhood we share as Panhellenic women.
