How to Join

The most direct way to join one of our 11 chapters is to participate in the Primary Recruitment Process which occurs each fall semester. This is a 5-day process which creates opportunity for a potential new member to learn and meet women from every chapter on campus. A candidate will visit all 11 chapters during our Meet & Greet Round, a maximum of 8 chapters during round 2, Sisterhood, a maximum of 5 chapters during round 3, House Tour, and maximum of 2 chapters during round 4, Preference Round, and concludes with Bid Day where candidates are matched with a chapter they visited and listed during round 4. They are matched via mutual selection which means the chapter and the potential new member both have to be interested to be matched. Beyond this, our campus participates in Continuous Open Bidding, or COB for short. This process can be hosted by any number of chapters at any given time.

Chapters are only eligible to host COB events if their current membership number falls under Total, the maximum numbers of members any chapter is eligible to have at any given point. This is not a bad thing as we regularly have students graduate which opens up spots for membership each semester.

Interested in COB? Connect with the Panhellenic Vice President of Recruitment or Panhellenic Advisor to hear what chapters are currently hosting COB events or connect with a chapter you may be interested in through social media!

It is important to note that membership into our organizations is not guaranteed at any point in either recruitment process. Our chapters set and uphold their own membership expectations that they hold all potential candidates to before offering membership.
